Chokeikyo
Tea Bar Chokeikyo is located on the basement level of Daikanyama Hillside Terrace. Guided by the concept of “Expressing Asia through the Essence of Japanese Tea,” Chokeikyo explores teas and spirits from Japan and across Asia, together with the cultures and aesthetic sensibilities behind them. With a particular focus on fermented teas produced in Japan, we seek to reveal new expressions of Japanese tea shaped by the wider traditions of Asia. In a quiet, contemplative setting, each cup invites you to encounter the landscapes, histories, and cultures from which it emerged. Through tea, Chokeikyo offers a glimpse into the many unseen dimensions of Asia.
